Do I own the website?
Yes. Your website becomes yours after the 12-month term is complete, provided all payments have been made.
During the 12 months, your monthly plan covers the design, build, hosting, maintenance, support and updates. Once the term is finished, you can either keep the website with us on a hosting and maintenance plan or take it elsewhere.
How does the affordable web design pricing work?
You’ll commit to paying for your website in monthly installments over the course of 12 months, but you’ll be able to enjoy the benefits of your website right from the get-go.
Why is there a 12-month term?
The 12-month term allows us to build your website without charging a large upfront fee.
A proper business website takes planning, design, development, content setup, testing and launch work. The monthly term spreads that cost over the year while also including hosting, maintenance, updates and reporting.
What happens after the 12 months?
After the 12-month term, you own the website.
You then have two options:
- Stay with us on our Hosting & Maintenance plan, so we continue to host, secure, back up, update and support the site.
- Move the website elsewhere if you would prefer another provider to manage it.
Our Hosting & Maintenance plan is £99/month and includes hosting, SSL, security monitoring, daily backups, WordPress and plugin updates, uptime checks and 1 hour of website updates per month.
What happens if I want to cancel early?
Because the website build cost is spread across the 12-month term, the remaining months are payable if you cancel early.
Once the full term has been paid, the website can be transferred to you. This keeps the offer fair: you avoid a large upfront build cost, and we can recover the time and cost of building the site.
How long will it take to build my website?
Where other web design agencies may leave you hanging for many months before launch, we know the sooner your website is up, the faster you can make sales.
That’s why we get your website live in as little as 30 days (once your onboarding phase is complete). Larger packages and add-on services may extend the length of your project.
What is included in every monthly website plan?
Every affordable web design plan includes the website build, hosting, SSL, security, backups, contact forms, basic SEO setup, monthly content update time, support and monthly performance reporting.
The main differences between the plans are the number of pages, update time, support level and whether advanced features like CRM integration, booking or automated follow-up are included.
Is SEO included?
Yes, every plan includes basic SEO setup.
This includes things like page titles, meta descriptions, sensible page structure, service page setup and basic on-site optimisation. For businesses that want stronger local visibility, we also offer a one-off Local SEO Boost and tailored ongoing SEO support.
Can you update the website for me after it goes live?
Yes. Each plan includes monthly content update time.
Starter includes 1 hour per month, Growth includes 2 hours per month, and Premium includes 3 hours per month. This can be used for reasonable website changes such as updating text, swapping images, adding small sections or making minor content changes. Update time does not roll over month to month.
